COMPOSITION:
Cefquinoma 25 mg per ml

ACTION:
Cobactan 2.5% contains an anti-infective drug from the group of cephalosporins with a broad spectrum of action, the only 4th generation. It is characterized by high stability against penicillinases and β-Lactamases. Cobactan 2.5% is rapidly absorbed and therapeutic blood levels are reached in a few minutes. In Vitro activity of cephalosporins against Gram negative and Gram positive organisms was also demonstrated: Haemophilus somnus, A. pyogenes, Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Salmonella spp., E. coli, Bacillus spp., Corynebacterium spp., Citrobacter spp. And Clostridium spp.

INDICATIONS :
Cattle
For the treatment of acute mastitis caused by E. coli with systemic signs
For the treatment of acute respiratory diseases caused by Pasturella multocida, Pasteurella haemolytica and all cefquinoma-sensitive bacteria.
For the treatment of foot and foot infections.
For the treatment of septicemia by E. coli in calves.

Swine
For the treatment of bacterial infections of the lung and respiratory tract caused by Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus parasuis, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Streptococcus suis , and other cefquinoma-sensitive bacteria.

DOSAGE:
Cattle:
Respiratory diseases and foot infections: 1 ml / 25 Kg every 24 hours, for 3 to 5 days.

Septicemia in calves: 2 ml / 25 Kg every 24 hours, for 3 to 5 days.

Swine:
